Meet the engineers and staff behind Technika
The visionary behind Technika Engineering

Principal Engineer & Founder
Chris founded Technika in 2013 upon returning to Charleston after co-owning a successful multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm in Atlanta since 2006. Chris's background and experience with all aspects of residential and light commercial construction and design, with a continued focus on complex residential engineering designs, gives him a unique perspective on the necessary engineering principles for these projects. Chris founded Technika in Charleston with a focus on historic structures, working side by side with some of Charleston's premier architects to create award-winning designs. Chris personally manages each project and serves as the primary point of contact for the company as it continues to grow, now completing projects all over the Southeast.

The four-legged member bringing joy to the Technika family

Chief Morale Officer
Evan joined the Technika team in 2023 and has been bringing smiles and tail wags to the office ever since. As our beloved team mascot, Evan reminds us daily about what's truly important: loyalty, unconditional love, and the joy found in simple moments.
Evan was adopted from the Charleston Animal Society Berkeley Campus in 2023. Their mission to save lives and find loving homes for animals in need is something we're proud to support.
If you're considering adding a furry friend to your family, we encourage you to visit your local shelter and give a deserving animal a second chance at happiness.
